Overview of DB2 training:
DB2 training is developed by IBM for their specific platform. DB2 is a universal database (UDB) which can run on any authoritative operating systems like Linux, UNIX, and windows. About Database training:
DB2 is a relational database management system developed by IBM. It is available in many different versions, such as DB2 Workgroup Edition (DB2Workgroup Edition), DB2 Enterprise Edition (DB2 Enterprise Edition), DB2 Personal Edition (DB2 Personal Edition), and DB2 Enterprise. The basic data management functions of these products are the same, such as the extended version (DB2 Enterprise-Extended Edition); the difference is in supporting remote client capabilities and distributed processing capabilities.
The personal version is for stand-alone use, i.e. the server can only be accessed by local applications. The Workgroup and Enterprise editions provide local and remote client access to DB2 (of course, remote clients install the appropriate client application development components), and the Enterprise Edition includes all components in the workgroup version plus support for host connectivity. Enterprise extensions allow a large database to be distributed across multiple different machines of the same type. This distributed capability is especially useful for large database processing.
DB2 training architecture:
In the architecture of DB2 training, on the client side, either local or remote applications, or both are linked with the DB2 client library. By using shared memory and semaphores local clients can communicated. And In the DB2 remote clients use a protocol named as pipes (NPIPE) or TCP/IP.
On the server side, by using engine dispatchable units the activities are controlled. Engine dispatchable units are also known as EDUs. In the version 9.5 the EDUs are implemented as threads on all platforms. In the EDUs the most common type is DB2 agents.

All these agents and sub agents are managed using an algorithm called pooling that minimizes the creation and destruction of EDUs.
